school started again! bleak.

wore full school uniform today, tie and badge... only left with name tag now... and we lower sixers had orientation today...

first up: ice-breaking. same concept as the librarian's camp 2004. we were blind-folded and given a sound. then we were made to make the sound to find our group members... but they came up with weird ones like 'high heel shoes' (which happens to be my grp and when the facilitator told me 'high heel shoes', i was like 'wat? how does that sound like?' so i went around going 'tak. tak. tak' -.-), 'blender' (weirder... i wonder how the found each other), 'motorcycle', 'airplane', 'toilet flush' (weirdest! *goes to flush the toilet to hear how it sounds like*), 'door' (door creak?) and etc. overall, it was quite alright.

second: creating the group logo, cheer, sketch. the group logo was a high heel shoe in the centre of an octagon (symbolizing the 8 grp members) with the star (symbolizing SMKSBU), 4 rivers (symbolizing SMK Sungai Besi. LOL), a book (symbolizing SMK Sri Petaling and SMK Sri Hartamas coz their badge has a book on it) and VI's 'seladang' logo symbolizing VI circling the shoe. my group members are all quite sporting... and our group cheer/motto is 'school shoes suck, high heels rocks'... (my reaction: ..... swt.) as for the sketch, we showed how high heel shoes can stop a snatch-thief from escaping with your bag and how other shoes won't be able to stop the thief. lol. lame but effective XD people DID laugh.

third: passing note game. the facilitators whisper the names of 2 chinese dishes in cantonese to the first person and the first person has to pass to the next and so on. we, the chinese on the team knew what the 2 dishes were except for the last person who is a chinese and was suppose to announce it to the rest of the people. -____-;;;;

forth: egg protection game. we have to protect a chicken egg during this 4 day orientation. currently its with a girl name siti.

orientation finished late so we had to start choir practice right away which was about 3 p.m. so, 30 mins warm-up then we learned the last verse of 'tanah pusaka'. kyaaa~ the ending sounds nice ^.^ finally we finished both songs!! yay!!!!! we only practised from 3 p.m. to 4.45 p.m. about there. we were suppose to start at 2.30 p.m. there's practice tomorrow too. -.-

gah... i'm tired. it's like going back to hectic form 5 life... just that this is more hectic. and there's a choir performance this sat for something i don't remember... days to inter-school/29th: 17 days. that's like 2 weeks and 3 days!! *cringes* it looks so near suddenly. talking about choir, last friday, some people from Kenya visited our school during the school holidays. so happens, the band was practising and so was the choir... so there was an impromptu performance *falls dead* the band is really really good... well, they should be with all that practice. and the choir sang 'okay' according to the conductor but the Kenyans didn't understand a word we were singing though @___@ they were nice. they took photos with the whole choir team and talked to us about how our school system is like... in Kenya, they study for about 20 years before entering university @@ and we thought our 13 years of studying sucked (including form 6 that is)

so yeah, back to school life. i should enjoy it more really.
really -.- *falls into a pile of pillows and falls asleep*
